The Kingdom Brass Youth Initiative will be buying student instruments of a very high standard from two firms initially, Besson and Rossetti.

The cornets and trombones we will be tutoring on will be Besson '1000 Series', which are excellent student models. Most top class bands use Besson Sovereign instruments, and the standard of those instruments is reflected in their 1000 series student instruments.

For tenor horns, we're using the brand new Rossetti '7 Series' models. These are again excellent student models, with the Rossetti company delivering excellent value for money on their instruments.

As we expand the KBYI into larger brass (such as baritones, euphoniums and tubas) and also specialist instruments (such as the soprano cornet, flugel horn and bass trombone) we'll look at the market and see what is available to us within our budget, but still delivering a top quality instrument to all our students.
